Losing, found

Reaching out
Nothing there
Touching, trying
Empty, bare

Cold, lonely
Feelings, gone
Silent wishes
Brief, strong

Falling, falling
Getting slower
Moving, limbs
Tumbling, lower

Pain, silent
It has to stop
Eventually, happening
Final, final drop.
